An easy ring-route from the dock of Viareggio through the unspoilt pine forest to the mouth of the Serchio river on a dirt road with asphalted stretches along the Torre del Lago waterfront (a diversion to Lake Massaciuccoli to Giacomo Puccini’s house is recommended (approx. 6 km A/R). The route through the pine forest can be modulated as desired by following the available paths at right angles to each other with easy orientation.
