S.Cancano -Trela

An easy, family-friendly route along the Cancano Lakes. Bike rentals are available at the starting point, with a stop at the Val Fraele Refuge.
The tour features an initial climb on a forest road. Immersed in the larch forest, we reach the Alpisella Pass: Alpine lakes and unique colors will leave you speechless. Next, we ride a fun single track that takes us to the spectacular source of the Adda River. Continuing our route, along the same single track, we glimpse two immense reservoirs from above: Lake San Giacomo and Lake Cancano. A unique experience awaits: we cross the most impressive of their dams. After this spectacular point, we find ourselves on the opposite side of the lake, where a short but steep climb leads to a fantastic plateau with green meadows, grazing cows, and a typical mountain hut serving mountain pasture products.
