Path starting from Bagno Vignoni initially towards Castiglione d’Orcia; after an initial climb to Castiglione a tortuous but beautiful panoramic descent will lead us to the territories where Brunello di Montalcino , one of the most famous Italian wines is produced. It deserves a stop to visit the charming village. Afterwards it will be possible to make a small variation of 1 km from Castelnuovo dell’Abate, to visit the suggestive Abbey of Sant’Antimo, immersed in olive groves and vineyards.
Once you get off at Torrenieri reach the centre of the town and continue to the right towards the old Cassia road for a panoramic and car-free ride. At the end of the tour we also recommend a stop at the village of San Quirico d’Orcia.
