The itinerary develops along the Umbrian valley, touching some of the most famous villages of the region, such as Bevagna, Spello and Assisi.
Before arriving in Bevagna, with a short detour and a few kilometres of easy ascent, you can also reach Montefalco, a town famous for its Sagrantino wine and from where there are breathtaking views of the surrounding hills.
From Spello to Assisi you can take the Via degli Ulivi, the olive path, which, as its name explains, runs through an olive grove.
There are only a few busy stretches when you go through some tiny villages. The itinerary is not difficult and has only two easy climbs: the one leading to the centre of Assisi and the other leading back to Brufa.
