Itinerando, the experiential tourism fair in Padua recommended to bike tourists
Slow tourism is what allows you, as Marcel Proust wrote, “to look at the world with new eyes”, and this could be the concept of Itinerando, the first fair in Italy dedicated to experiential tourism, scheduled at Fiera di Padova from 31st January to 2nd February 2020.
There are four sections within Itinerando: Camper Experience, dedicated to campers and camping, Boat Experience for nautical tourism, Destinations for those who love to travel slowly, explore, and discover charming places in Italy.
Furthermore, there is a themed section that we like the most, Bike Travel.
Destinations and itineraries for cycle tourists
In the Bike Travel area you can enjoy the latest trends in terms of bicycles (road bikes, mountain bikes, e-bikes, etc.), equipment, accessories, but above all travel proposals, itineraries and destinations that will allow you to better enjoy your passion.
Besides, a wide selection of cycling routes will be promoted, as well as the opportunity to compare yourself with other bike enthusiasts by listening to their experiences in Italy and worldwide.
Itinerando will be even an occasion to recommend different kinds of bike routes: around parks, on the hills, by the sea, in the mountains or unusual places, such as on the slopes of a volcano.
For example: from Camargue to Provence through the landscapes of Van Gogh by bike and boat, the Sibillini Mountains, the climb of Etna by mountain bike, the Danube cycle path, the beautiful landscape of Chianti area, the coast to coast route of Basilicata, the Via Francigena route…
We will suggest even the territories that promote cycling tourism in Italy. For example, Grisignano (in province of Vicenza) promotes, together with 14 other towns, the “Green Tour”, a project that combines sustainable tourism and ecologically correct lifestyles, while the Vicenza Consortium presents the ring bike path of over 300 kilometers, from which 21 routes lead discovering the province of Vicenza, through 7 different areas from 0 to 1.800 meters above sea level.
