The estate consists of accommodations in both hotel and apartments, a restaurant inspired by the traditions of typical Tuscan cuisine, Luxury Spa, wine cellar, Villa and a quaint medieval village, which houses inside a delightful Etruscan Museum. Nowadays the property belongs to the Olmo family, the heirs of the famous cyclist Giuseppe Olmo, who fell in love with this land and its beauties and decided to buy the estate in the 80s. The area is particularly suited to cycling for the many routes available, different for difficulties, slope and road surface, all surrounded by vineyards, old churches, woods and villages.
During the restoration, precious original elements have been preserved, such as fireplaces, stone wash basins, wooden beams and terracotta floors. Each room typology recalls in the colors and details the nuances of our wines.
The 59 apartments are located in a private, defined area perfectly inserted within the medieval village of Artimino, in the heart of Tuscany, not far from Florence. The village is connected by an evocative tree-lined avenue to the complex where Villa Medicea La Ferdinanda and the Paggeria Medicea stand. All the apartments have been created in the historic rooms of the old farm and in the neighboring manor houses, keeping intact the charm of the past while being mixed with the comfort of modernity.
