The Capitano Hotel Collection is a restoration project started in 1995 by the desire of the Genovese Family to revive some of the ancient and prestigious properties of the village by creating rooms and services spread a few steps from each other, thus giving their guests the opportunity to rediscover the beauties of the past and enhance the small village by taking advantage of the various services:  the ancient trattoria, Horto garden, relaxation area and Etruscan swimming pool (reserved only for guests staying at the “Palazzo del Capitano Wellness e Relais”), the privat spa, the garden bar, the shops of typical products and cosmetic line Tuscan herbarium, the historic cellar of the village and the artisans of the village. As an alternative to the “Palazzo del Capitano Wellness e Relais” 4 stars you can stay in the other structures of the Capitano Hotel Collection: Boutique Hotel Villa del Capitano or Torre Camaldoli and Torre Giardino Segreto the guest houses of the village equipped with fewer services.

The Capitano Hotel Collection offers the possibility to organize various activities to enrich your holiday: Cooking classes, tastings of the famous wines of the area and visits to the cellar and excursions on horseback.

You will find the food and wine products, of the best farms and cellars of the Val d’Orcia, proposed in the menu of our Trattoria, selected by our Chef, Oil, honey, cold cuts, pecorino cheeses, truffles, artisan pasta and many other delicacies.
