Cycling by the sea
The Marenea Suite Hotel is a perfect starting point for those wishing to explore this territory in its lesser-known sides and corners by the most ecological, relaxing and healthy means of locomotion: the bicycle. The hotel provides guests with non-professional bicycles for hire, a shed for parking their own bike and space and equipment for washing it, a small maintenance service, an external service with a van for transporting bicycles in case of emergency, and charging stations for electric bikes. Furthermore, for cyclists who choose the Marenea Suite hotel for their stay, we have provided specific services to make their cycling holiday perfect and unforgettable, such as an in-house laundry service specifically for cyclists’ clothing, sports menus and snacks available at the restaurant and bars, and an in-house spa in the pajara for decontracting massages after training and cycling.
The Restaurant
The exclusive restaurant “La Terrazza sul Mare”, with à la carte menu, offers an incredible sea view and modern cuisine that makes careful and respectful use of the raw materials offered by a rich and generous territory, ranging between the elements of the sea and the land.
The rooms
The Marenea Suite Hotel has 25 rooms furnished in a sober and elegant style that recalls the taste and tradition of the Salento region. The furnishings are embellished with local handcrafted design details such as hand-embroidered bedspreads as in times gone by or ceramic objects such as traditional pumas. Even the lamps and bathroom linings recall the ancient cementine, the precious painted floors typical of the area. All the rooms (except the Standard) have a private sun terrace reached by a staircase for exclusive use, equipped with a gazebo and sun loungers, from which one can enjoy an enchanting view of the sea.
The Standard rooms
can accommodate up to a maximum of 2 persons and consist of a single room of about 20 square metres. Some have a separate entrance with a small patio with table and chairs.
Superior rooms
can accommodate up to 4 persons and have an independent entrance with a small patio with table and chairs and consist of a single room of about 40 square metres with a double bed and sofa bed.
The Suites
can accommodate two to four persons and are characterised by an independent entrance with a small patio with table and chairs. The Suites consist of a single room of about 60 square metres with a double bed, a small living room with table and chairs and two sofa beds. Some suites have a characteristic star-vaulted ceiling
Deluxe Suites
can accommodate two to four persons and are characterised by a separate entrance with a small patio with table and chairs. The Deluxe Suites are 60 square metres in size and are divided into two rooms with a double bedroom and an entrance room. The entrance room has a table and a small living room with two comfortable sofa beds. Some Deluxe Suites, on the private sun terrace, have a whirlpool bath.
Free Wi-Fi, a telephone, a safe, air conditioning, a minibar and a kettle with an herbal tea set complete the list of amenities available to guests.
