From Romano Canavese we will head towards the Dora Baltea and the plain accompanied by unique scenarios pedaling in the internal part of the Morainic Amphitheater of Ivrea. We will feel the protagonists of a journey within a territory that has been eroded and transformed by five periods of glaciations, the result of which is similar to a well-preserved amphitheater with powerful, well-preserved and visible lateral deposits. We will reach the inhabited area of Vische, and then continue on an unpaved road towards Candia C.se, we will first discover the Natural Park and the Lake of glacial origin (the final result of a depression created by the mechanical action of the imposing glacier Balteo); then admiring a spectacular panorama we will climb up to the characteristic Romanesque Church of Santo Stefano. We will return towards Romano Canavese, an ancient village resting on the slopes of the morainic hills, as if to dominate the vast plain that rests at its feet.
Romano Canavese is distinguished, already in the distance, for the towering reddish tower and for the imposing neoclassical church. In this itinerary there will certainly be the opportunity to take breaks to discover and photograph the variety of Canavese landscapes and for enthusiasts to enjoy food and wine interludes at the numerous producers of wines and typical products, transforming this adventure on two wheels into a “tour Canavesano food “truly unforgettable.
