The Salita (ascent) Pantani

This tour includes a stop at the necropolis of Puntone, a unique place in this geographic area with numerous Etruscan tombs still perfectly preserved.
Returning to the provincial road you continue keeping the right, the road climbs, then descends and rises again, almost completely in asphalt. Path never boring arriving to Rocchete di Fazio, a village where time has stopped, from its fortress you can see the entire valley of the Albegna river and Mount Amiata. Return you throught Semproniano and then stretch, if not sufficiently tired, for the village Poggio Murella and reach the Saturnia Thermal Resort from the famous Salita Pantani (which in this case is traveled downhill)
