Riding Crete Senesi

Suggestive run with calm roads and a little you traffic. They cross the famous Clays to reenter from the sweet “senesi” hills . After the descent to Buonconvento the constant slope but pedalabile it is faced toward the abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore

Reached the Small Suburb of Chiusure you continue in the Heart of the “Crete Senesi” in a very panoramic road until you reach San Giovanni d’Asso, home country of the White Truffle of the Crete.

From the Crete of the truffle we  move to the famous area of the oil, another richness of our land and then to Montisi, Castelmuzio, the famous “ Pieve di S. Anna in Camprena” until you get to Pienza, a real jewel in the Val d’Orcia natural park. here a stop with a visit is a must. Next step is ” S. Quirico d’orcia” famous for the medieval gardens and the Church

Easy return to the old via Francigena up to the foot of the dirt road n. 8 of “Professional White Roads” that with 3 km of ascent brings us back to Pieve a Salti.
