Forte dei Marmi (LU) – Monte Marcello (SP)
Starting from Forte dei Marmi follow the seaside boulevard in the direction of Marina di Carrara. Continue along the SS432 passing Fiumareta di Ameglia. Just past the bridge over the Magra river, turn left onto SP30 towards Bocca di Magra in the direction of Montemarcello, tackling the climb of medium difficulty (average gradient 3.8% – max 12%).
Note: the return can also be made via Monte Marcello-belvedere – Ameglia.
Variations: from Monte Marcello you can go downhill to Tellara and Lerici
